Recurring dog poop pickup that keeps your yard clean and usable without the weekly chore.
Learn more →Dog yards attract pests for an obvious reason: waste, and the residue and odor it leaves, are exactly what flies are looking for. Cleaning up removes the main draw, and the weekly deterrent treatment goes a step further by treating the areas that keep pulling insects back — the dogs' regular spots, the ground along fences, the area around trash cans and waste stations, and damp shaded corners. It runs weekly because insect pressure is a season-long condition, and a few weeks off is enough for populations to rebuild.
This is a warm-weather and warm-climate service above all. Customers across Florida, the Carolinas, and anywhere with long humid summers ask for it earliest and keep it longest. It fits households that cannot use the patio in the evening because of flies, yards with a kennel run or one concentrated bathroom area, and commercial properties where residents gather near a pet area or a waste station. Shade, standing water, and heavy dog traffic in a single spot all make a yard more attractive to pests.
The treatment is applied on your regular weekly visit, after the yard has been cleared. The crew works the areas that draw insects rather than blanketing the property, because the draw is concentrated: the spots your dogs favor, fence lines, hard surfaces near the house, and the ground around any waste can or station. It adds a short amount of time to the visit and asks nothing of you beyond normal yard access. Let treated ground dry before pets are back out.
Deterrent and deodorizer make a natural pair, because the smell you notice from the patio and the smell that draws flies come from the same soaked-in residue. On properties with pet waste stations, servicing the stations often matters as much as any treatment, since a full can in the sun is a stronger attractant than the yard around it. Weekly pickup is the foundation underneath all of it; without that, nothing keeps pace with what the yard produces.
Expect fewer pests in the areas we treat, not an insect-free yard. Neighboring yards, standing water, garbage, compost, and livestock all contribute pressure we cannot treat, and one hot week after rain can undo visible progress. The honest measure is whether the patio and the dog area are usable in the evening, and whether the swarm you kept seeing in one corner has thinned out. Tell us where you are still seeing them and we will concentrate there.

Good to know
Flies are the main target, since waste and its residue are what draw them to a dog yard in the first place. Treating the spots dogs use and the ground around waste cans also cuts the general insect activity that collects there. It is not a mosquito treatment and it does not replace pest control for the house.
Give it a few weekly visits. Insect pressure builds across a season, so the first treatment thins what is already there while the weekly rhythm keeps populations from rebuilding. Customers who start in the middle of a hot, humid stretch usually notice the most change, because that is when pressure is highest.
Most customers do not. In markets with real winters it is worth running from spring through early fall and dropping when temperatures fall. In hot, humid markets it makes sense for much more of the year. You can pause and resume it without changing your pickup schedule.
Not well. Waste left in the yard is a continuous attractant, and no weekly treatment outpaces a fresh source. That is why the deterrent is an add-on to a pickup plan rather than a standalone service. If the yard has gotten ahead of you, a one-time cleanup first gives the treatment something to hold.
